Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was the most important naval battle throughout the Pacific War in World War 2. It began in June 4th 1942 and ended in June 7th 1942. Japan had been offensively winning battles after battles. They had many numbers of ships helping them win for awhile. The Japanese created a plan to lure the remaining of the American aircraft carriers into a trap to completely cripple America. American Code breakers were able to figure out when the attack was going to take place. So we were going to take action to fight back with full power. During the Battle of Midway America had sunk four aircraft carriers, destroyed all of the planes located on those carriers, and killed a vast majority of pilots and soldiers. America had only lost one aircraft carrier during the battle. This battle was turning point of the war in the Pacific. After winning the Battle of Midway, America had won all the battles from then on.
